Great location. Everything was clean and well-kept. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Breakfast goes until 11 am. Good selection and well stocked. Beautiful fireplace in the lobby where breakfast is served. Cozy sitting area. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Beautiful view of the lake from the patio(across the highway). The room is a bit dark and the bathroom is very small, but it's nice ro have the sink outside of the bathtub and toilet. Decor is somewhat odd. All said I would definitely stay here again!

This place is clean and well maintained. It allows pets which is awesome. It's centrally located to loads of hiking and exploring. Especially with your 4 legged friend. They even have a bonfire area! And the pool has the best views of the lake. It's great!

Great location for easy travel to Grand Portage and Grand Marais. Cute cabin vibes with clean rooms. Continental breakfast provided various options. View of the lake from the hotel!

Stayed at the the AmericInn by Wyndham in the town of Tofte Mn,near Duluth/Superior last summer to attend the wedding of my young niece. Literally across the street from Lake Superior. Clean rooms were on the small side, with mini fridge w/ sm freezer. The TV remote control was almost encased, in a Ziploc bag with no explanation: same thing in another family members room down the hall. Maybe they can get sticky. Nice motel, seemed busy, as motels go. Right across parking lot was huge gas station/ convenience/ bait store that also sold firewood, all kinds of munchies, but unfortunately... at touristy high prices. Nice place, I'd stay there again if I had the need.

Gabe was honestly the most kindest and down to earth person I’ve ever met… seriously. I travel all the time for work and fun, and he delivered more than enough with his character, kindness, and service. This place is truly blessed because of him. I truly appreciate this experience because of him. Thank you Gabe!

A really nice hotel located near Lutsen ski area. Pretty darn good hot breakfast! Nice staff was very polite and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable. We had a great stay.

Our favorite option for staying in Lutsen/Grand Marais. Most affirdable option and only 15 min from Grand Marais. Trust me... Stay in the King Suite with the whirlpool! Staff is always so nice. Check in is super smooth. View is beautiful in the morning! Breakfast has a great selection.

The hotel, while showing its age with smaller bathrooms and lacking an elevator to the 2nd floor (fortunately only two floors), offered comfortable accommodations. The main floor's restroom availability was limited to the pool area, inaccessible when the pool was closed. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of options including a waffle maker, juice, coffee, pastries, and several hot items like meat, eggs, and biscuits & gravy. The breakfast area was never busy while we were there as well so no issues for seating or running out of food. The laundry facilities consisted of one washer and dryer, both coin-operated with reasonable pricing ($1.25 for washing, $1 for drying). Although there was no set duration listed for cycles, our experience suggested around 30 minutes for washing and 45 minutes for drying. The front desk was helpful in providing change for these amenities. Overall, the hotel provided good value with its amenities and friendly service, despite some minor inconveniences related to its older infrastructure.
